Local Area Information
We are very lucky to be located in a beautiful part of the country. Our location offers a peaceful and scenic rural setting whilst providing easy access to the city of Bath, the rural town of Bradford on Avon, and a host of lovely villages, such as Laycock and Castle Combe.
If you do decide to stay with us we can provide you with local information on places to eat, walk, shop and visit, but have provided a taste below on what our area has to offer
Places to eat and drink – Within the local area we are fortunate in having a wide variety of quality places to eat and drink. There are 2 pubs within walking distance (as long as you don't mind walking uphill on the way back). The links below take you to the websites of some of our favourites.

Based in our local country stores at Wadswick, the Forage is a great place for coffee, brunch or lunch.
Our local garden centre also has a great farm shop and popular cafe

Bradford on Avon - Explore BOA
Bradford on Avon is a small but delightful town, and is great for combining a walk along the canal with some food delights. If you have a dog, the Dog house (link below) is a great place to stop for a coffee with your canine friend!

The National Trust village of Lacock is beautiful, and well worth a visit.

This is beautiful English village, and has featured regularly as a film location.
